We came 3rd yesterday in the intermediates competition run by Alpha Dogs and had a enjoyable day. Starter and Intermediate competitions are a great way of getting the dogs (and handlers)used to the comeptition atmosphere.
The team (dogs) was Ollie, Pip, Spencer and Skye (who we borrowed from Denise). The humans were Jane, Anna, Fiona, Denise and our excellent new boxloader Nicky!

26th July 2009, Tai Lawr, Bryngwran, Anglesey

It poured it down! This was a starter competition run by the Pods. We came 2nd . Thanks to the Molten Magnets who helped us by lending us 4 extra people - box loader, dog holder, ball collector and Jean who stood on the start line and advised us on change-overs.
The team (dogs) was Pip, Gem, Celt, Ferris and Spencer. The humans were Anna, Margie, Alwena and Fiona.

2nd May 2009, Fairview Farm, Stockbridge, Hampshire

It was a scorching hot day allowing a bit of sunbathing in between races. Spencer had his debut in the last race of the day and we came 4th overall in this starters competition. Thanks to Bad Dog Racers who organised this tournament.

10th April 2009, Fairview Farm, Stockbridge, Hampshire

We travelled to  Hampshire to attend the Mapleleafs starter competition and got a 3rd.
